The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia was established in 1964 for the purpose of providing fellowship among the evangelical missionaries serving in Zambia. It is a voluntary Christian church mother body registered under the Registrar of Societies in Zambia as a nonprofit organization, with tax exempt status. The scope of the group was later expanded to cover not only missionaries but also the general fraternity of evangelical denominations, local churches, mission organizations, para-church organizations and individuals etc.
We, therefore, wish to encourage you to browse on and acquaint your self with our activities. Your feedback is also greatly valued.
Chingola youths speak out on gender justice
The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) had the pleasure of training 85 youths in Chingola from the 8th to the 11th of November 2011. The youth training on gender and good governance was well attended daily and youths participated very actively as they shared their experiences. Topics which were covered included Leadership, Gender based-violence and the importance of gender mainstreaming in the Church.

Forestry community mobilization
Being the implementers of the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI)/Publish What You Pay (PWYP) campaign that focuses on the forestry sector in Zambia, The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) ‘advocacy team’ recently undertook a three weeks orientation and community mobilization trip to four districts in western and north western province of Zambia namely Sesheke, Senanga, Kasempa and Mufumbwe. The trip ran from the 10th to the 25th of October 2011.
